work at it, team!

Posted by citra aulia on
So true that life full of wishes and dreams. They drive us to make things to happen. But If you want something to work, then you must work at it. Look back and review, how many plans being established, but don't work out. Reluctantly to admit, not enough effort to work at it, to make it work. In hospitality industry, teamwork stands out. Oftenly forgotten, to make things work, it involve both individual part and team. As they say, good team complement and fills each other. The excitement and thrills planning some projects with a team, indeed requires commitment from individual team members. It's great to accomplish individual plan, as most success factor will rely on us alone; eventhough support from others is inevitably. But indeed, face it, in many working environment, team play great role to guide the plan to work, by simply, working at it. Series of actions are needed but again, need commitment to push it through. Imagine, the excitement designing an activity with your team, and the flame just out because they then leave you alone to carry out. Aren't we curious, and sometime wonder, knowing our team members are excellent as individuals, but as a team is difficult to push thing through? Well, the homework then be, to ensure to have a solid team whose members keen enough on work at things so things will work out. Question is now, do we really know what it takes to establish good team?

Hospitality industry is a people business, none of us able to perform the work - pleasing and fulfilling guest needs - solo or single handedly.

We work in a chain - where every juncture of interactions and process count and essential to the guest experiences.

So, why you think you work alone? Mixing up, blending up and collaborate! - in a TEAM!
